It is always good upon rising to make the Sign of the Cross, in the name of the Father, the Son and of the Holy Spirit.Amen Lord, I thank you for the blessing of this new day. May I use it to reflect your presence in all my thoughts, words and actions, so that these hours might end with the world a bit better and someone's life a bit happier because of my efforts. Amen. O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in reparation for my sins, for the intentions of all my relatives and friends, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father. Amen Help me Lord to love thee more than I ever loved before, in my work and in my play, be thou with me through the day. Amen
